Actor. Singer. Confident Mover.

Hi there! My name is Yasmin Ranz-Lind and I am an NYC-based actor.

My family knew I was going to be a performer from the moment they witnessed me feeding lines to Pinocchio as I played Jiminy Cricket beside him at the age of 6. As the child of two brilliant diplomats, I found my way across the world by telling stories and singing my heart out.

I am a passionate, curly-haired, MENA-American artist looking to collaborate and play in a rehearsal room. I am excited to bring my unique perspective to the stage as a Moroccan-Israeli-American who spent the better part of her life living in Israel, Morocco and Egypt (spelunking in pyramids, roaming through spice markets and riding camels deep into the Sahara desert). I am an explorer, in every sense of the word!

Syracuse University’s BFA Program, the NYC Tepper Semester and the Advanced Acting Program at Shakespeare’s Globe have given me a hunger to work on all kinds of art, whether it be new political works, darkly comedic musicals, quirky sit-coms or gender-bent Shakespeare. I can’t wait to get to work!
